Event Description
Join SF Parks Trust, the Department of Public Works, and the Rec & Park Department for a day of fun and land stewardship! Alemany Farm is a 4 acre organic farm in the middle of the city, and one of the Rec & Park Department’s most interesting properties.

Volunteers will plant fruit trees, work on landscaping and gardening projects, and remove weeds. A green resource fair will also take place, providing information on sustainability, water conservation, recycling, composting, greening, and various city services. There will be children's activities that will entertain and educate kids to raise their environmental awareness. A delicious and healthy lunch will be provided! We’ll also be treated to live music, powered by bicycle!

Dig in with us on Arbor Day, and enjoy fresh air, sunshine, music, food, and fun!

Please R.S.V.P. to Donalda Watson-Walkinshaw at 415-750-5443 or Donalda@sfpt.org by Friday, March 5 at 2 pm.
