Enjoy a beautiful fall morning on a members-only bird walk in Golden Gate Park with SFPT and local bird experts Helen McKenna Ridley and Allan Ridley! Some of the stops will include the Ferns, and the AIDS grove. Bird-sightings may include Yellow-rumped and Orange-crowned Warblers, Hermit Thrush, Dark-eyed Juncos, and White-crowned and Gold-crowned Sparrows returning from migration. We might even see Anna’s Hummingbirds and the Peregrine Falcon(pictured below). We expect to spot around 30 species of birds. For SFPT Members only.
Meet at McLaren Lodge.
Please bring your own water to drink on the tour. Space is very limited.
