Event Description
A civic celebration to raise funds and gather friends for San Francisco’s
parks and recreation programs. Honorary Co-Chairs are:
The Honorable Gavin C. Newsom, The Honorable Art Agnos, The Honorable Willie L. Brown, Jr., The Honorable Dianne Feinstein, The Honorable
Frank M. Jordan, Gina Moscone, and Consul General of Japan, The Honorable
Yasumasa Nagamine.
Event Co-Chairs are Connie Goodyear Baron, Meg Bertero,
Nancy Conner, Ben Friend, Christine Gardner, Rebecca Green Birdsall,
Lucy Hume Koukopoulos, and Cynthia B. Silverstein.
Hosted by San Francisco Parks Trust and the San Francisco Recreation and Park
Department, the event includes a cocktail stroll in the Japanese Tea Garden from
6:00 P.M. to 7:30 P.M. The evening continues with an Asian inspired sumptuous
buffet, catered by Dan McCall in a tented redwood grove across Tea Garden Drive. Dancing featuring DJ Spider will conclude the evening.
