Event Description
Join the San Francisco Parks Alliance and the Recreation and Park Department for a volunteer work day with the Strawberry Hill Butterfly Habitat Restoration Project! We'll begin the day at 10:00 am sharp. Please meet at the Stow Lake Boat House in Golden Gate Park. Volunteer work day tasks include removing invasive weeds and putting in the beneficial native plant species that Swallowtails and other butterflies need to thrive!

Please RSVP (by the Tuesday before the volunteer work day) to reserve your space by calling Julia at 415-621-3260 or emailing julia@sfparksalliance.org Please bring water, wear closed toe shoes, and dress in layers as the weather may change quickly. All needed tools and equipment will be provided. This is an ongoing volunteer opportunity, meeting on the second Saturday of each month. We are seeking volunteers that can be involved on a long term basis.
