The Friends of Presidio Heights Playground was organized to support the renovation of Presidio Heights Playground. The group has been collaborating with volunteers and private donors to revitalize the park by replacing old and unsafe play equipment, renovating the basketball courts, and improving the landscaping to include fences, shaded areas, and additional seating. The Presidio Heights Playground sits on Clay Street between Walnut and Laurel Streets and is heavily used by a wide range of community members, from adults playing basketball to preschoolers attending nearby schools. The renovations stand to benefit many different kinds of users and will improve the overall appearance of the playground.
